Baseball/Softball – Dementia Populations Gift of Purpose Packet
The Baseball/Softball Gift of Purpose Packet celebrates the familiar sounds and rhythms of America’s favorite pastimes. For many people, memories of these sports are woven into childhood summers, family outings, school games, or evenings spent cheering from the stands. The crack of the bat, the cheer of a crowd, or the feel of a worn glove often brings back warm and vivid moments.
This packet invites individuals with memory loss to revisit those experiences in a relaxed and engaging way. Whether someone recalls playing on a team, supporting a child or grandchild, listening to games on the radio, or simply enjoying a sunny day at the ballfield, these activities encourage conversation, connection, and a sense of joyful participation.
No experience with baseball or softball is needed to enjoy it.
